Principal's Corner
by Heidi Reale

Dear Families,

I am so excited, blessed and honored to be the new principal of Holy Trinity School.  Mrs. Mary Ann McGivney, Father LaMorte and I have been working to ensure a smooth transition into the 2010-2-11 school year.  I would like to take this time to introduce myself to you.

I was born in Poughkeepsie and grew up in Wappingers Falls.  I completed my undergraduate studies at Eastern Michigan University and my graduate studies at S.U.N.Y. New Paltz.  I began my teaching career in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and then taught in the Poughkeepsie City Schools when I moved back to New York.  Most recently, I taught in the Arlington Central School District, as well as 10 years of Faith Formation at St. Columba and Blessed Kateri parishes.  My husband and I will be celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary this November.  We have three children, currently ages 16, 13 and 10.  I thank God for family, friends and our Church; I believe it takes a loving community to help raise a child!

I am very excited that God has given me the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful school and parish community.  I know he has amazing plans for us this year.  I look forward to a productive school year and getting to know each family.  I will be in school every morning through August, except for the week of the 9th – 13th.  Feel free to stop in and say “Hi”

Sincerely in Christ,
